I am currently gainfully employed as a Supervisor of ImPress: Print and Document Services at OfficeMax and have no desire to seek another full-time job. I am also currently going back to school for my second art degree in Multimedia Design where I am learning such things as video editing, moving graphics, and animation.
Until I graduate (in 2009) I am no longer taking on freelance work or commissions.

As you scan my rates, you
may notice I charge a lot less than most design firms. This is not because I
am an amateur or lack experience, but rather because design firms must charge
more to cover their overhead.
Design firms often have a team of designers being paid an hourly fee, expensive
rent for their office space, out of pocket insurance, and on top of it all must
pay for their own advertisement.
I can charge less because I am an individual working out of my home. I have
a full-time job as an in house designer covering all of my personal expenses.
This means all the income I get from freelance work is supplemental and used
primarily to update my software and further my schooling so I can offer even
more services to my clients.
